Sinners We Are All

And beneath the sun
you wait again,
the darkness cast
across your skin,
the moon shall glisten
through your eyes,
and blind you from
the truth of sin.
Amongst us all,
you disengage,
stereotype
and scrutinize.
Commandments; you
believe to abide by-
The sinners you
continue to baptize-
because you call
yourselves Forgiven.
That, alone, is,
a Moral Sin.

  1. I really enjoyed the line "the moon shall glisten through your eyes, and blind you from the truth of sin". I agree with you completely on the fact that everyone in this world sins yet many also preach forgiveness, commandments and truthfulness at the same time, which is the epitome of hypocrisy. But sadly that is what our world is at times, one full of moral sins and forgiveness. Yet i think that we should all though keep in mind that forgiveness is a gift that should be given at times when it is true and needed. We should not be so quick to write people off. =) Beautiful work hun! Keep on writing! I knew your inspiration would come forth sooner or later!
